MY AI PLAYGROUND

Designing with AI became a big chunk of my week. So I started building with it too. These are what came out: small things, mostly for problems I actually have, sometimes unusual, sometimes small, all live. Test it yourself, or see my video for more details.

MOSAIC

Claude (planning) → Claude Code → GitHub → Vercel

Photo in. Mosaic pattern out. Tick off tiles as you place them.

I started doing disco-tile mosaics on paper as a side thing (don't ask me why, I like shiny things and needed to spend time on something manual).

Planning the patterns in Figma was slow, and the results were rough.

So I built this instead. Drop in a photo, set the final size, the tile size, and the number of colours. You get a pattern split into tiles and larger chunks, and you can mark them off as you build the real thing. (would work with LEGO)

~Two evenings

Live, still tweaking

MORNING PROTOCOL

Claude (research + spec) → Claude Code → Vite/React/TS/Tailwind + Hono/SQLite

A habit tracker without streaks.

I wanted to wake up early, with as little snoozing as possible. I also wanted to be consistent and productive in my time outside of work. Productivity apps never worked for me, I constantly forget about them, I set goals that are not realistic and I simply drop it after few days. So I read the research and built a tool that takes it seriously.

It tracks the wake-up plus three small daily commitments, one for each identity I'm building: 30 minutes for designer, 20 for fitness, 15 for Spanish learner. Miss a day and the rolling average dips. There are no streaks. No punishment. Every step, even the smallest, counts. The day ends with a shutdown ritual that picks tomorrow's first move. Every action is a vote, not for a streak but for an identity.

Local-first, just for me, more to come
